  6. Are these regular audio CDs?
No - they are much better. They are MP3-CDs. A regular audio CD only holds about one hour of recorded audio, while an MP3-CD holds up to fifty hours of recorded auido on each disc. Regular audio CDs are also available. click here. Most newer DVD players and Cd players support MP3-CD players. Look for the MP3 logo on your stereo to confirm if these CDs will work.

  7. What is MP3?
These shows are recorded in digital quality MP3 format on a MP3-CD. You can listen MP3-CDs in any computer and most DVD and CD players. Look for the MP3 logo on your DVD or CD player to see if it supports MP3-CDs. You can also listen to them on any portable MP3 player, like an iPod or any other portable audio player.

  8. Do the shows have the original commercials?
I always skim through each new show as I collect them to ensure they sound fine, but haven't fully listened to my entire collection yet. I have a collection of over 10,000 hours worth of Old Time Radio shows and I've only just begun listening to them! When I find duplicates of shows, I compare each version and keep the one that sounds best or the one that includes the original commercials. My best guess is that about 90% of the shows in my collection contain the original commercials.
Some example of the great commercials you will find are:
soap operas: dove soap commercials oxidal soap commercials and a really swell steak knife offer
jack benny: a few Chevrolet commercials in some, a few JELLO commercials in others
shadow: blue coal commercials, "join the army" commercials
    Johnny Dollar: Camel Cigarettes commercials
